When I was over in Germany of all places. But I felt quite safe despite the fact it was well after midnight. Germany Rocks

oh yeah, it was around two hours walk, and I had to do it twice a week for a year :S

Yes, I had to walk 2 miles to get to school, and its always hot in Florida so I was drenched in sweat by the time I reached school.

I suppose yes, when I was a young teen in a small town I would walk a lot, furthest was round trip from home and back to visit a friend to swim with them at a pond near their house, in total it was around 17.2 m or 27.68 km.

Many times late at night when I didn't have money for a cab... But the big ones are several times when I had to walk to college from the bus stop which was outside of town. A couple of those were in the Wisconsin winter and with carrying lots of baggage...

What a far place mean ?
Is it 1, 2, 5, 7, 10 km or more ?
This is no problem to me to go distances that far or even further

A few times when drinking. Twice inparticular I remember. I saw an old friend at the bar and he told me to come post-game at his place. So we grab a taxi and go back to his place. Well, his room mates all go to sleep except for one guy who is hooking up with some girl. Then it's me, this old friend and this other girl I know. Well they start flirting and it's apparent they are gonna hook up so I leave and just start walking. No idea how to get home, I just walk and walk and walk in the snow. Finally get home and it's sunlight. Walked for like 90 minutes.
Another time I was at a bar with a buddy playing some pool and we met these guys who were like 'yo come back to our place, we are having a little party'. So someone gives us a ride to their apartment and it's a small get together. They seem kinda crazy so me and my buddy leave and walk an hour home.

Yes. You see once upon a time, me and my mum had this cool idea, 'Hey, let's cover the 2km distance to our home.' It was pain in the feet.
