I used to prefer headphones but then I deafened myself while listening to music on my laptop. Every since then I get very nervous with headphones so now I prefer ear buds. I also now am sound sensitive especially with loud and/or high pitched sounds and with long periods of sound near my ears.

I like both but prefer Headphones because like most people here posted ear buds just don't stay in ear where u want them, I have awesome ear buds and awesome headphone as well both makes me visualize music but since ear buds keep falling out so It annoys me very much.

As said, the earphones hurt after a while, but I still prefer them.

Earphones tend to start hurting my inner ear after a couple hours' listening so I prefer headphones over them.
