i'd rather stick with reasonable excuses, people are more likely to believe that the bus was late rather than i was taken by aliens.

Haha, yes. When my friend & I were in high school we were late every freaking day and even though everybody, including the teachers, knew it always was completely our own fault, we used to make up crazy excuses, hoping that a laugh would make it less bad. And it always did! The teachers would just put us on the list but never really got angry. We always had to do chores after school, but we were friends with the concierge who would always let us off easy instead of letting us work for a full hour (which we were supposed to do). Haha, the good old times :-)

I know I have, just a month ago, I over slept and I had to be at work at 8 and woke up at that time... Well any how, I called my supervisor and told her that I will get late cause I had to change all over again, being that I fell in the sea.

This one is a little bit more crazy I told my fourth grade teacher once, that my mom got me late for class cause a dog bite the tire as we were comming to school and we had to change the flat. Her nor I knew how to. So that´s why I´m two hours late.

no, I'm allmost never late but my friends are ALLWAYS 15 mins late and says they ''missed'' the train that goes every minute.. soo annoying !

One day my bookbag fell apart on my way to math, so I grabbed all my stuff and ran to class as the bell rang, but when my teacher saw what happened, I was ok. So I figured I'd try that later, and while being late to English one day, I just unzipped my bag and let all my books fall out. That not only helped me but a friend who was late to the same class who helped me pick them up. lol
