sexual lyrics aren't usually explicit, only implicit, so no, in my opinion it doesn't make kids more likely to have sex

I have never really thought about that... But I don't think so. I think TV shows and movies are more likely to make kids want to have sex.

I say yes. But, I also have reasons; This might be long.

It's because 'kids' or adolescents are still very impressionable. This, combined with the natural insecurity with how one's body is changing during puberty often drives us to seek out guidance. However, many will not go and ask "mom" or "dad" out of fear, or simple nerves. So, they look towards the public media's, and there they hear all these sexually explicit lyrics and messages. Watching this, and under these circumstances or similar ones, they could get the idea that promiscuity and wanton fornication is the proper thing to at their age.

We know this is wrong; but we've had extra years of experience and grew up in times with (generally) fewer sexual messages; we were sheltered from such things, but who is able to shelter the kids today? Only some radio stations playing 'kiddy' music, christian music, or some other lame drek, while the majority include songs of a more mature nature and include these explicit lyrics, censored only for cursing and vulgar language.

Because of this, the adolescent mind is bombarded with sexual lyrics (and images on tv) and their sexual urges are less inhibited.

Of course, this is only my opinion and you have yours

I said yes, but really I think it depends on how the child is raised, and how open the relationship with their parents is.

If Keeta said yes, it must be true right? I mean, He's still an adolescent, he would know.

Sexual explicit song lyrics make sex seem like "the norm" to kids. So, I'd have to say yes. Even if it doesn't have as much as an effect as TV shows/movies has, I think to a degree it does!

Okay, I understand why people vote for 'no'. It's not like they're listening to sexual lyrics and then go like: "let's have sex!"
No,it's really not like that, it's about what kids hear ALL THE TIME nowadays.
They are listening to those lyrics a lot and even if it won't change them fast, SOME change will happen in them, I believe that what we see or hear around as has a hugfe effect on how we beginning to think of life.

No, I don't think so.
Maybe some of them do, but I think that kids just don't get the meaning of it; then confused with it!?/ in another case, they misunderstood for those meaning too. ; 'cause they're so naive so .....

But I agree that too sexual lyrics are infect some part & somehow also...

Hm mm.... Good question
