I feel all virtuous because I never buy the things...

but when I'm in the doctor's waiting room, I'm secretly pleased if I have enough time to finish at least a few articles.

Hidden shallows, I guess.

Only when my mum steals them from the doctor - they're usually about 5 years old so it's actually quite a blast to read and reminisce.

and no, i don't read them. i personally despise gossip. the kind of gossip that involves people intimately talking, discussing, or spreading like wild fire about other people's personal matters

I usually don't read gossip mags simply because they don't foster higher thinking. I can't help confess, though, they do look awfully enticing at the supermarket line while your waiting to make a purchase. other than that, I'd never endorse them.
