to know! i'd rather like to know if i was acting like an idiot, doing something to embarrass myself, or something that was offensive or hurtful to others. better to know than to continue looking like an idiot/making a fool of myself, or heading in the wrong direction. i might be hurt or upset for a little while, but i'd get over it.

I'd rather know, no matter how much it hurt to. I'd probably find out eventually anyway and the lying or not telling would feel like even more of a betrayal.
If it was in one of the situations Jen said I'd like to know then too so that I can fix it or talk the problem over with whoever.

idk. i don't want other people to hide secrets from me,
so I would usually force them to tell me whatever it is that they're hiding, then after hearing the hurtful secret, i'd be so pissed that i won't talk to them for like a week.
i'm so hard to deal with haha

It's all well and good to say that you'd want to know. But sometimes it's easier not to. It's hard and I suppose that it depends on the circumstances. I like knowing things but I also like to let things happen.
If I don't know then it's easy to just keep going how things are going. But if you know then you need to take some kind of action. I like things to stay the same. Inertia and all that.
But then there's the thing of others knowing and you not and feeling humiliated when you eventually find out.
I don't know. I seem to just like talking.
Ok. So to answer the question which I've kind of forgotten what was, I wouldn't want to know. It's the easy way out. And I suppose the cowards way out too.

don't know for me because that's something i'm actually dealing with right now, and i find myself wishing i didn't know. when it comes to a relationship sometime having that person in ur life is more important than the truth

not to know, EVER! i've found out the truth about a bf of mine in the span of 3 days after like 1 year together. it was the worst ever. people can die of a broken heart. i don't want to be one of them.

So you'd rather be messed around and have whoever it is take the p*ss out of you? They're using you, screwing you over and you'd prefer to keep it like that? That's putting you to shame! Come on, they aren't worth it. Grow a pair and find someone who deserves you, who'll treat you right and who you can be happy with without the falseness and lies.
