Why would I lie? Haha.. | +1 @ 17-05-2008 19:53 RandmBiskit | 301 posts
| No. I often tell people funny/stupid stuff that happened in a book or a movie, but why would I pretend it happened to one of my friends? Give my friends some credit, they aren't THAT dumb... | -1 @ 17-05-2008 20:15 gonebydawn | 2 posts
| Oh, hell yes!
I do it to see if anyone will pick up on it and call me out. | 0 @ 17-05-2008 20:45 snowfall | 25 posts
| Hehe probably...
i can't remember any details right now but surely I got to tell a story that wasn't funny enough so I had to touch-up, and inspire by something I saw. Not often anyway. | 0 @ 17-05-2008 23:56 yarid_reyes | 590 posts

| No! But I know people who have. As if it makes them cool to know someone that did anything amazing for themselves... But why lie about it? | 0 @ 19-05-2008 14:48 guitar_mad_chik | 119 posts
| It's ironic renever actually done this but sometimes when i'm telling anecdotes people accuse me of stealing them from tv or books and i havent! It's always really weird because i'll be like "right so we were on the norfolk broads and my mum spilt coffee and my dads lap and he freaked out and jumped up leaving the wheel of the boat and we crashed into the mud bank" and somebody will go "OMG u so stole that from only fools and horses" and im like..............."erm no..........no i did not" |
