1,236 posts	No, cause I would lose my privacy, which I consider essential to remain with peace of spirit. I like to walk on the streets and not be recognized by the others, unless known people that could be possibly walking there.

4 posts	I think it would be nice to be famous, but what about your privacy?? On the other side, there are so many benefits... I guess being famous is a hard job, but with all the extra credits it's amazing!!

38 posts	Well, I'd say yes but only for one reason I seem to like the life they're living in the every-day way of life Like, I don't know... Being far from home sucks for such a long time while being on a tour but being on a tour with 4~5 friends of the band and friends of yourself axcually, Seems quite nice. Besides, there's the feeling that I get while watching youtube videos, Looking at live shows and looking at the singer of the band just standing there and letting the infinite to sing along the lyrics, makes me all shivering. The fact of being rich and having a life-style like they do, excites me less than what I've written above.

153 posts	I plan on being famous one day, but for something useful (science) NOT useless stuff like bad singing or acting as most famous people are famous for. I mean, what does an image mean? I don't think so - I would like to be comfortably wealthy, though not super rich because I wouldn't be able to spend billions of pounds in a lifetime, so what would be the point? Anyway, back to the fame thing... I would want my privacy. I wouldn't want to be a famous actor or singer anyway, as it's so unreliable - no matter how famous you are, your sales can and will eventually go down, and actors are unemployed 90% of the time. I would like to be an author, though, but not necessarily famous. Just published. Or if I was a famous author, I'd be really reclusive, and also use a false name * offtopic : Welshgirllowri, the scientists who've won the nobel prize do deserve more acclaim, but I wouldn't necessarily call singing or acting "useless". Music is important to me, and I would be a lot less happy without it. Films and music can both be used to get messages across to people, and many try to raise awareness of important issues. I agree that some celebrities get a lot more acclaim than they deserve (Paris Hilton!), and some of the best singer/songwriters and films are virtually unheard of - but it's not that music and acting are useless. It seems to me that many celebrities are more famous for the sordid details of their social lives than for anything good they've actually done, which does really annoy me, but that's just specific people, not musicians and actors in general

298 posts	umm.. yea but no too famous. i dnt like to be the one in the limelight. perhaps the one behind stage if u kno wt i mean.. like a producer, director or whatever rly.. basically id like to be involved in that area but without being the famous person..

1 posts	I would never want to be famous because i would be too scared to change... I love me the way i am but mostly i love my friends and id be terrified if i lost them because of a stupid thing called fame......but yeah id hate to be famous.......if you said yeah to being famous why???

15 posts	not reallly, it would be very annoying with everyone knowing practically everything about. [offtopic] it wouldn't be good for your kids at school, one of my best mates dad is famous and its really annoying for her because loads of people come up to her and ask if its true and if they can get free band merchandise and stuff, you would have thought they would have got over it by now but we have been at this school for 3 years and it still happens.

439 posts	no not really...i don't really like standing in front of the class let alone a million and one people running up to me asking for an autograph....that and they have no privacy...a normal person runs into a garbage can, him/her and their friends laugh about it...a famous person runs into a garbage can and it's blown way out of proportion with the camera's and paparazzi wondering if there was alcohol involved...when all they did was run into a stupid garbage can...

1 posts	Yes and No. Yes because then I could have a lot of money and make famous friends who like me for me and no because I couldn't go outside for a second without a person or camera in my face and no one would like me for me they would just like me cause im famous. So I would get sick of it at times but other times it would be fun.
