662 posts	Only two of those apply to me - but I prefer using cash over a debit card. I'm always nervous that don't have enough dollars in it - or that I'll swipe it through the machine and it just won't work. Probably just cause I'm new to it - I'm sure I'll change my ways when I have more call to spend money. I just feel like I know what I’m doing when I use cash (even if no-one else does )

504 posts	Cash. I don't have a debit card, and I don't want one. If I take cash with me, I can control how much I spend. If I use my credit card, I allow myself to go overboard because I think "Oh it's okay, I have the money..." * offtopic : Misfitgurl - Saying her parents buy everything for her doesn't sound entirely spoilt, but you're right, it does sound like she needs a job. Parents will naturally financially look after their children upto the age of 18+. Hell, my Mum still pays my car insurance because I'm on her policy. I take of myself for everything else though, and I never found the transition that difficult.

5,917 posts	* offtopic : Your mom paying for your insurance isn't bad lol. My mom does it for my brother and I know she'll do it for me too. Many parents do that. Its not totally spoiled. But people who lack indepedence sorta annoy me in a way I guess =/. Probably because my life isn't as easy as it getting handed over and people brag about it then I wanna smash their face in .

5,917 posts	* offtopic : You should get a small job when you're in uni. =/. Everyone should know that and try. Because its not cheap itself. My parents aren't gonna pull over 24,000 out of their ass plus more for stuff I need. etc for when I go.

257 posts	cash...it's just easier for me...i refuse to get a credit card ever cause i have a huge fear of getting in debt lol [offtopic] umm i'm jealous of all you people whose parents pay for your stuff past the age of 18...i'm 17 and i've had a job since i was 14 and besides room and board and some food, i've been paying for everything on my own since then lol i thought that's how it was for most people too, but i guess not
