true love is supposed to last forever. though ive seen people say that this person is 'their true love' and it doesnt last but a few days -_-

i think love lasts forever...because if people break up it doesn't mean they don't love each other it could mean they never loved each other or the love turned into a different kind of love...so all in all it lasts

Yeah, it doesn't state what kind of "love", hence why I said "some". Some love lasts forever. I'll always love my Gran even though she's dead but I don't love my friend from years ago anymore.

Yes, I guess REAL love lasts forever. If it ended, I guess it was not love, but strong liking or something like this. There's this guy that I don't love, but I think I'll like him forever...

love itself is a human creation... such as money, religion and technology... and since human is not eternal, neither is love...
nevertheless, i do assure that love will exist as long as mankind exists.. as much as love ppl feel will exist as long as those ppl and the source of their love still exist...

You know that's a really tricky question - hard to answer without alot of life perspective (for me, anyway). I think that the love I have for my family will last forever...my friends - possibly not. As for the big L.O.V.E, I have no authority on that subject whatsoever.

I have always wondered about people who've gone through divorce, and then re-married. Or people who have lost their spouses. I would hope that there wasn't only one person for everyone...unless that's the way it's meant to be for them...

Just because something ends, it doesn't mean it wasn't love.
What do you guys mean by "true love"? How do you know it's true until you gt to the end of your life and you're still with that person?
There are too many different kinds of love. Damn this confusing poll.
