OF COURSE!

If you don't have money, then you don't have anything. And others will probably say that they have love, but you can't by a computer or a TV with love. lol

Yes, I think it's important. I'd like to have enough money to eat and to live where I do, but nothing more. Otherwise it's not fundamental.

That doesn't mean I think it'll buy anyone happiness.

Nothing can make up for having money and you're a pimple on the ass of society if you don't have any.
Sure you can maybe have love but love wont keep you warm and fed on the streets in the winter.
And I can't imagine falling asleep in the snow on the streets, starving to death but being perfectly content because I am in love with a hobo mistress who is also off freezing under another bridge because she didn't want to share the scrap of mcmuffin she found on the street with you.

It's important because without you could be living on the streets, but there are other things more important then money.

everyone who says no is lying, money is something you need to survive, it gives the basic elements to live properly.

definitely not...sure it keeps you alive but if thats all you've got in life that's pretty sad. i mean...if you dont' have love but u have money to keep you living...what is there to live for?

im not rich and i know for a fact id never want to be...money may buy you a house but it's not the only thing that can keep you warm at night.

I would like to think that I'm still naive enough to say it isn't, but if I have to live in the real world for a second, I guess yeah

And Jen's got a good point

Zis is not true, non. It's a matter of a opinion. And what we need to survive depends on how we live and our culture. The tribes in Africa (or wherever), don't use or have money.

Love keeps you warm inside which is something money can't do.

Anyway... At first I was like "Is money important to what?" but I guess "to life" is the answer.
So... it is important if you think it is and if you don't, it's not.
I disagree agree, Kristha. Although it keeps a house over my head and food on the table, I would choose for my money to be taken any day if it came to a choice between my money being taken or my love/the love anyone has for me.

I don't usually spend my money on myself, I find it makes me much happier to spend it on the people I love most, but to me the most important things in life are love and happiness (not just my own) above anything else so compared to these, money isn't important.
I’ve never been happier than when I’m surrounded by beautiful scenery, (on holiday, not where I live), and I’m with the people/person I love most. I’d still be happy even if I was there and all my money went. And if I died, I’d die happy.

The woman in the Bible who gave away her last coin is my idol, lol.
