Evolution can be scientifically explained, and it works, and makes sense.
Creationism saying "god" "created" everything. yeah, right. Try and prove how that works.

Isn't this poll basically "Which came first, chicken or the egg?" In it's literal form? What a waste of a poll.

I believe in evolution, it's a fantastic basis for life. It makes sense, there is too much evidence to prove anything otherwise.

I don't believe there is a God who "suddenly put everything there in 7 days", but I do believe that there is a higher power out there who created every atom and therefore the foundation for evolution.

TL;DR : Both, and neither.

really its a mixture of both. why can't a god or higher power have created everything the way it was and then things evolved into the way they are? just consider it for a bit before you people inevitably try to rip my theory to shreds...

i get what you're saying jeremy, and i agree. I believe more in evolution myself, but who's to say those initial creatures that everything evolved from weren't put there by some higher power?

Evolution can be 100% proven, try looking it up.
Try and prove that "god" exists, and that religion isnt all just bs made up by humans that does nothing but cause wars.

james, why don't you let people believe what they want to believe when it comes to religion. everyone else tends to blame religous people (most notably christians) for persecuting non-believers, but i've seen quite a bit of it going the other way on here. if you think its stupid or bs or whatever, keep it to yourself and if a religious person cant do the same, then take pride in the fact that you are the bigger person.

ignorance like that is what bothers me about this subject. Evolution shows that life evolved from single celled organisms. As time passed and conditioned changed things evolved to withstand the changes.
That does not mean a frog will become a human, that's just stupid. But it is possible that if a swamp that a bullfrog was living in dried up and trees grew in its place that frogs offspring could evolve into treefrogs.
Evolution is actually more fascinating than 'God created everything' if you'd actually look into it.
