Well, sure, why not? If they can provide for their family, I see nothing wrong with this.

First!!

I said no becuase I dont think it's sane for a kid to grow up with a gay couple, what will the other kids will say at school, why don't you have a dad? o why don't you have a mom? Why do you have two dads? and stuff like that. It's nothing against gay people, but it's better for the kid.

And that child can reply, "I have two loving parents just as you do, so why does it matter?"

If they want the opportunity to raise children, how can anyone deny them that?

A kid with a single parent, or a even a child adopted by two straight parents, is going to experience that same confusion, that same pain. In the case of a single parent, wanting to know their missing dad/mom. In the case of adoption, wondering where they really came from. Kids will always ask another kid without a mom/dad where the parent is. No matter what the situation.

And kids aren't going to understand why there are two dads/mom because it isn't something that's common, not because it's something that's wrong or weird or twisted. I think if a gay couple can care for the child, that is what's absolutely most important. No child should go without a loving home. I genuinely love children, and I'm probably not going to have kids of my own. Should I not be allowed to adopt just because I can't provide a father for my children?

Yeah, they should be and either way, they are, so it doesn't matter.
What about the people whose dad has died - then they don't have a dad either. Plus, in Psychology we studied gender and studies have shown that it doesn't negatively affect the child/children.

If we all stopped being prejudice, there'd be a lot less deaths in the world and with the year we live in, so many same sex couples are together that I can't believe people still think there's something wrong with it. Studies have also shown statistics of gays/lesbians/bisexuals so I'm sure that the homophobic people on this site, or people who say they aren't but still think things like this are wrong, actually know someone at least relatively close to them who is either gay; lesbian or bi and perhaps you guys just don't know it. Haha.

I'm kind of surprised by the reactions so far...

So it's better for a child to grow up with no parents at all then? Who cares if it's two moms, two dads or one of each. A family is a family. No matter who is in it.

Gays are people.
Straights are people.
Every person of a different sexual orientation is still a person.
So why are we against gays?
It makes no sense.
Gays should be allowed to do whatever they want,
their lives,
their kids.
I don't give s--- if it's against god,
for all I care f--- God if he is agaimst gays.

I think everybody should have the opportunity to have our own family no matters if we are straight or gay, the fact of the parents are gay it doesn't mean that the kids gonna grow up confused because their parents preferences

No kidding, how often do you hear stories of, a man and a woman have been keeping their child locked in a closet case? Seriously, you hear stories like that all the time. But apparently gays will hurt and rape the children, but straight people are so innocent.

So what you're saying once you become gay you are agressive and hurt children? What I'm saying is that gays are people... Treat them like people. I'm %100 pro-gay. And I'm %100 gonna speak my mind when I say you and others who are anti-gay (I don't care if god says no, parents say no, ANYONE says no) go die. What are you doing to this world? You're breakign apart happy couples because of your comments, you are confusing young kids to be pro or anti, people are committing suicide because of these comments. so I repeat go die.

I'm saying (yen27) that people who comment "fag, that's so gay, gays should go to hell, etc" are breaking up gays because they want to live without those comments.
