510 posts	So are seedless grapes and seedless watermelons vegetables? The definition of a fruit is a ripened ovary and a vegetable is is an edible plant organ that isn't reproductive tissue.

NOT A VEGETABLE!!! if u dont believe me look it up in the dictionary. to everyone who answered vegetable you really are dumb!!!! what kind of question is this???? this isnt a question about an opinion its a fact, the tomato is a fruit, whoever picked this question has serious problems, stupidity

4 posts	Just because something has seeds doesn't mean it is a fruit. Would you like ppl to take tomatoes out of salads.... I didn't think so. The guy above me has serious anger problems...

26,355 posts	It's just that most fruits taste very sugary, and a tomato is the last thing on Earth that tastes sugary, so I'm gonna stick to my guns and still say it's a vegetable.

123 posts	I guess it's a fruit (that's what I voted for) I still consider it a vegetable though. Like if I make a regular salad I would put tomatoes in it but if I made a fruit salad I wouldn't put tomatoes in it.
