We're used to see baby girls in pink and baby boys in blue, but past that stade, blue becomes a color that fit both gender. Pink seems to stay a girl color though (maybe a bit less these days).

not anymore. alot of people refer to light blue as "whore blue" because of the way light blue eye liner looks on girls, so no, not necessarily a boy color anymore.

yes, i think blue is for boys and pink is for girls. i think work is for boys and taking care of your family is for girls. i think coming home to a warm meal is for boys and cooking it and making sure it stays warm until he arrives is for girls. i believe setting the rules is for boys and getting what comes for breaking them is for girls. and yes i am a girl, catholic (people always think i might be muslim, which is no crime at all), hate feminists think the world would be right again without them and yes feel free to criticize me all you want if it bothers you one little bit, if it makes you angry, if u get the urge to tell me off it's because u know im right LOL

The color blue for boys actually comes from China. They wrapped males in blue cloth, the color of the heavens to protect them from evils and the such. It may sound sexist, but China was, and still very much is a sexist society. I'm not sure where pink for females came from. =]

what is this garbage. girl color or boy color, its a damn color.

my favorite color is purple, so all my life i hear this trash. when i have kids, it will be no pink or blue. im gonna have purple ballons, yellow ribbons, and give out orange cigars.
because i can.

no cause im not a guy and i wear blue a lot! I see how it can defined as a guy colo(u)r when babies are born and they immediately shove them into blue or pink.
