| Not really, but I never dismiss anything as a possibility until it can be proven false. There's enough claims and enough effort being put into studying it so it could have some legitimacy. | 01-04-2007 00:33 spaz0304 |

Okay, ftr I am the least bullshitty person you're ever going to meet. I dont believe in ghosts or any aranormal shit usually but I said yes because I experience it first hand. At least i think I did.
I get super-disgusting deja-vu especially since I started going to my school. I used to have dreams about this school when I was in junior high 6 years ago. I didn't know what it was at the time and I only remember these dreams when they're triggered but it happens frequently. Like I was aligning a 24-track tape machine last month for the first time and all I could think is... I've done this before then I remembered it.
I'm probably just crazy. Theres probably some explaination but I dunno. Maybe its just a glitch in the matrix.

| i totally believe that people can see into the future because i get "premonitions" i sposed you'd say, and lately i've been dreaming of things happening ie. a girl i know and four other people including me were in exactly the same spots as in my dream and the girl tap danced which also happened
i know it sounds really stupid but literally it has been happening about 10 times a day over the last few weeks and it runs in the female side on my dad's family but we get called "tinny" not psychic lol | 01-04-2007 01:34 dj_sally | 12 posts
| the fact that you had a deja vu does not mean you were able to see into the future | 01-04-2007 01:54 marle23 |

| nope, but i do believe that there are people who think they can see into the future
God is the only one who knows what the future holds. | 01-04-2007 02:19 dark_knight86 | 4,992 posts
| No I don't think so. Sometimes they are just wild guesses or you can see what will happen only because it's pretty obvious if you are paying attention to what goes on around the world or maybe because history repeats alot. | 01-04-2007 02:20 Aluna |

| I said no. There's no way. If you have dreamed about something that actually happens later, then you did not see into the future. Those things were SUPPOSED to happen, I mean, someone planned those situations. Then, we would be living in a kind of Matrix.. Or maybe like in the film Black River... | 01-04-2007 02:20 switchfoot12 | 446 posts
| i personally dont believe it but im not gonna say it doesnt exist cuz there is no way to prove it doesnt | 01-04-2007 03:02 SystemOfADown | 34 posts

| I've had a number of pre-cognitive dreams as well. And even if they were planned by fate, God, The Matrix, or whatever you believe in. If I've seen it before it happens, I've still seen the future, pre-determined or not. | 01-04-2007 03:31 Aluna |

| ^ I understand your point, but what I mean is that those situations were SUPPOSED to happen, but maybe they wouldn't happen. For example, you dream about something, but then there's some mistake in the Matrix, and the situation doesn't happen... How can you predict the future? Everything can happen in future! The thing is: in the Matrix, "they" lead us into certain situations... | 01-04-2007 03:39 PunkRckr8 |

| I don't believe that anyone can see into the future. That would imply that our futures are predetermined, which although I am not certain on my views of this, at this point in time I think that our future is open to multiple possibilities. Our brains work a lot of the time by tricking us, so I would assume that Deja Vu and the such is simply the result of that. | 01-04-2007 03:48 Aluna |

| Now, do you wanna have the blue pill or the red pill???? | 01-04-2007 03:50 Walker_Cyrmych | 220 posts
| If I understand right, you're saying that it's not predicting the future because it's not guaranteed to happen.
I'll give you that, I believe most things aren't set to happen. But if you have a dream or vision of an event that does later happen, whether it was destined at the time or not, you have seen the future. Or more precisely a possible future that later came to pass. | 01-04-2007 03:55 Aluna |

| You understood me right. So you're saying that some things are set to happen? How come? Don't we have free will? Maybe we're in the Matrix. Let's take the red pill. | 01-04-2007 04:11 Walker_Cyrmych | 220 posts
| That's my religious belief, that certain things are destined (I'm a Christian by the way). If you disagree with that, I'm not going to try to change your mind, this is neither the time nor the place for religion. | 01-04-2007 04:14 Schatzi |

| Ok. I'm not gonna try to convince you about Matrix too. Apparently, if it can be really proven, some things are set to happen... Then there's either God or the Matrix. Or maybe both. | 01-04-2007 04:30 PunkRckr8 |
