#2, for the first time, duh! I'd go with manual, what's the fun driving auto transmission cars?? Manual is where the real car driving comes in!

umm whats with the LSI polls nowadays?
a while ago there was only one choice: "test"
now its about auto or manual...and I didnt even get to vote

_Nobody_ drives an auto transmission car over here. Unless you are disabled, seriously. Auto transmission is sooooooo lame!

Wow 92% automatic.

I guess it depends on everyone's personal preference but for me, whatever I learn, I want to learn it from scratch, from the beginning. So I prefer manual transmission. But nowadays, since so many prefer auto, there's no point for manual, really.

i'm with you, daniel! what's the fun of driving that?
i understand old people wanting to switch to auto cars, because they've driven enough i guess. but if you're my age, and you don't drive a manual car, i'm going to say you're just too lazy.

I only have an auto... I really don't care what people say, I'd rather drive the automatic.

JANETTY- you've got your manual/automatic mixed up
auto- it shifts gears on its own and you just drive
manual- you shift gears yourself

No offence but im 14 years old and i drive a manual =D i think those how drive a auto are stupid usa people or there just stupid and lazy. sry if i offended anyone but thats what i think =D

I said automatic.
My last car was manual, but when we got my new one I made sure it was automatic. A girl at work told me before how much of pain it was to drive a stick once she had her daughter (with trying to shift, get her a bottle/pacifier, stop her crying and drive all at once.) No, we're not expecting kids anytime soon, but I figured since its a brand new car I'll still have it when we do decide to.

I don't think auto is lazy or whatever.

I've been driving a bit on my grandparents place. I started with a standard. I do want to learn to drive a manual (we call them a standard), but I'm going to drive an auto when I get older.

So what, it's one less thing to do while you're driving. If I have to drive a manual car, I'll do it, I will learn how to do it. Say I have to drive a friend somewhere in their car. But I don't see the point in using a manual when you can have one less thing to do while driving.
