5,285 posts	That's a tough one. I can't decide. I have seen a looooooot of people who are just total idiots when it comes to alcohol. Get drunk every time you have the chance to party, blah blah, and that's dumb. Though I know many people who ARE responsible as well. I'm gonna go with yes. People are gonna do it anyway.

59 posts	People do it all the time, and it's not so much to do about it.. But can i picture my littlesister(she's 13 years old) wandering outdoors, getting drunk, and maybe so drunk that she has no control anymore? I've seen people from her class out on different partys, and some of them were drinking, she doesn't yet tought.. But then again i'm a minor, and I drink.. I don't think minors under 16 should drink..

2,772 posts	This is too general to answer. A 16 year old having a glass of wine with their parents over a meal is harmless, but a bunch of 14 year olds getting wasted is obviously wrong. So yeah, it depends on the circumstance.

59 posts	kians_angel: Yeah, your a minor if you're under 18.. But it's surprisingly (is that a word?) easy for minors to buy drink in England compared to Norway.. And alot of other countries too.. That's what I have experienced at least.

531 posts	no i know people get alcohol anyway, but young kids dont know when to stop drinking, sometimes not even older people know, but alcohol causes a lot of accidents, and minors dont know the consecuences of their acts

193 posts	I'm a minor, and I wouldst drink that often, but people that are minors are too stupid, they would go to parties and get wasted every weekend.... fucking tools...

446 posts	i have a two reasons for saying yes number one is if they dont then when they can they will go mad and get wrecked and will never have had an alcoholic drink befor will not make them go crazy as the will all ready know whats going to happen and there just gunna do it anyway i have reasons why im going to say no and that is younger people cant handle a drink it will make them do extreamly stupid and dangrous things(well it does with anyone) and if there only young that persons body might not be able to handle the alcohol and they could be seariously hurt. i think in modderations it could be ok but not that much that every one is drunk!

26 posts	I think they should change the age in the states. 21 is just nuts. 18's a good age I think. A LOT of people in my school go get drunk and high every single weekend, I don't get it, they use all of their money straight away. I mean, I do drink, have parties with my friends but if you're having one every single week then you're ruining all the fun. For me, it doesn't matter, we(teens/minors) have lots of ways of getting alcohol.

326 posts	I think that if people can be responsible enough to not get drunk everytime they drink then maybe. Then again not too many people are responsible when it comes to drinking.

38 posts	Sure why not...Well it is legal where i come from.(Philippines) My cousins do it all the time. one of them was just 11 haha it was hilarious. Even though it's annoying i still dont think it should be illegal.

1,092 posts	Boy(s)(and girls),this is a typical example to tie-in with yesterday's poll - Most of the youngsters,and there are MANY on this site, realize the answer is No,they shouldn't be allowed to drink alcoholic beverages,however, many will outright lie just to give the impression that society,as a whole,approves. LIAR, LIAR, 'PANTS ON FIRE, Ha, Ha, Ha !

2,088 posts	No i don't think so. It impairs judgement too much and well i guess this would be for anyone not just minors, but people get behind the wheel after a few drinks and kill innocent people. But I say no

650 posts	I'm a minor, I've drank before. No more than a couple gulps, of course. But people are gonna do it anyway. It really should depend on the parents. Just like the whole R rated movie thing.
