I would never do anything for the benefit of my country, but only for the people who inhabit it (and if my country is the one that declared the war, there is no way that'll ever be the case, and my country is the one that is wrong). My children won't die for blood-stained money.

174 posts	i wouldn't forcefully send them into war if they didnt want to go. But if they decided to go on their own free will, then yes i would. As much as it would pain me,they would be old enough to make their own decisions, and it would be what they wanted to do.

504 posts	That question is appauling! Why would you force your own child into war? No, they can make their own decisions. And recent wars like the Iraq War are unjustified - on the contrary, I'd try to discourage it.

80 posts	I'd fight and expect my children to fight when the enemy was knocking on my front door. But that is simply survival. Personally, I don't feel any patriotism. Wars are so fucking pointless. Land, power, money, personal issues, hate.. It's bullshit. I would like to raise my children to grow to be soldiers // But then a general would decide when they life would be over //

8 posts	If you choose to live in a country(and be protected by its laws and government), it's your duty to everything you can to protect it. But, anyone who votes yes should also be willing to go into war before they send their children to fight. Votes 1959-yes no-88.1% yes-11.9% Wasn't there the same discussion about the Vietnam War? It's amazing how we can forget that lack of support has lost more wars than armies have.
