22,056 posts	Depends really is the fight physical or verbal is about something i care about or is it a petty and trivial thing In general i was raised not to throw my size around so i'm usually the first to back down and try to keep the peace...i'd rather have a beer than throw a punch to be honest but there are times where you have to stand your ground... i oput back down though...i just really dont like conflict...you hate what you grew up in i guess

259 posts	It depends. If it's a verbal argument with say, my mom, for example, I'll back down ONLY when I've made my point. Then she keeps blundering on, and I sit there silently. It really gets to her becuase then she has no one to argue with and then I basically win. Silence is golden.
