so r u saying that poor people (that are happy even though theyre poor) WOULDNT be happy if u gave them money? of course they would!! so no, money is not ALL there is to life, but it DOES make people happy (it just doesnt buy happiness, those are two different things)

money makes things easier, it's a fact that can not be denied ... when things are easier the mind doesn't get troubled or polluted by things that are complicated. So at the end you're happy. It doesn't always apply but still it works for me

i don't really agree with this...but i voted yes, cause it brings some hapiness, not all. i think that you can't be happy without a reasonable amount of money..that provides you a house, food, clothes..but that doesn't mean that the more money you get the more happy you are. the most important things are your family, friends...and some personal achievment. of course some money to spend on vacations, good cars, new clothes, funny party's, makes us somewhat happy...but if there's nobody to share...forget it

Its not the money that makes a person happy,
its recieving it when you havent had any, or wasnt expecting any.
And when u have it, its about what you do with the money that makes you happy, not just having it.
Would you be happy if you had $100 but was unable to do ANYTHING with it? o.O

It's really sad that people still think that money brings happiness... You probably think it's just what everyone wants you to believe, but it really is the truth. True love and friendship don't cost you money. Money is necessary, without it we wouldn't survive, but the material happiness it brings doesn't last long. Love and friendship could last for a lifetime. Think about it.

Money can't buy you what you have.

Money doesn't buy you friends, happiness, love or anyother emotion.

To me money is useless, yeah it puts clothes on my back and food in my stomach but that is about it.

Money has no influence on me

This made me laugh. first of all, money does buy you what you have. Money doesnt buy friends happiness love or anyother emotion.. true, but it does contribute to emotions. If you feel low on cash, i bet money has somthing to do with it. THis whole thing was a contradiction of itself. ha.

But i said yes. I am happier when i dont have to worry about whether or not i have enough food to buy my groceries, or be able to drive to work. I am happy when i find a dollar in my wintercoats pockets. Yeah i cant buy friends, or love, or things like that with it, but it DOES contribute to my happiness. I think those who said no just say no because they want to feel better about themselves. But be realistic here...

haha that is funny oh well you mean money DID but what you have and you need money for other things then just clothes and foods..like college, taxes, books maybe, other things that interest you

money makes people happy to a certain extent you need enough for basics, but after a point it stops being so important. If you get more moeny your standard of comparison goes up, so you'll keep on wanting more.
